APPLYING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE HYBRID TECHNIQUES IN WASTEWATER TREATMENT

The present paper proposes an automatic control system for the operation of the wastewater treatment process applying hybrid artificial intelligence in real-time control. The main goal of a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is to reduce the level of pollution of the wastewater, that is, to remove within possible measure strange pollutants of the inflow water to the plant prior to discharge to the environment. Most WWTP design, based on the crisis condition, wastes resources and energy, and it also reduce the cost-effect to research the effluent permit. Application AI technique in wastewater treatment is a alternated way to operate the complex treatment process, to reduce the energy consumption in operation, and to improve the efficiency of the treatment equipment.
